What Classes do I offer

Pilates
Pilates is a training method that focuses on strengthening your core, improving your posture and increasing your flexibility and balance. This method, developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, combines controlled movements with conscious breathing to make both body and mind stronger and more balanced.
How does Pilates work?
In Pilates, you perform flowing, precise exercises that are usually done on a mat, sometimes with the help of aids such as a ball, resistance bands or machines such as the reformer. The exercises are designed to train all muscle groups evenly, with a strong focus on the deep abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and glutes – also known as your ‘powerhouse’.
The Benefits of Pilates
Pilates offers a wide range of benefits for beginners and advanced practitioners, young and old:
1. Stronger core: A strong core is essential for stability, balance and injury prevention.
2. Improved posture: Pilates helps you become more aware of your posture and corrects imbalances.
3. Increased flexibility: The exercises lengthen and strengthen muscles, increasing your range of motion.
4. Reduced stress: By emphasizing controlled breathing, Pilates brings calm and relaxation to your daily routine.
5. Recovery and injury prevention: Pilates is a safe way to recover from injuries or strengthen your body to prevent injuries.
6. Improved coordination and balance: By requiring your mind and body to work together, you improve your body awareness.
Pilates is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. It can be adapted to your specific needs and goals, whether you want to recover from an injury, improve your fitness or simply move through life stronger and more flexibly.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a calm and meditative form of yoga that focuses on deep stretching of the body and releasing tension. Unlike dynamic yoga forms, where movement and strength are central, Yin Yoga is about holding sitting or lying postures for longer, often three to five minutes or longer. This gives your body and mind time to relax deeply and stretch your connective tissue and joints in a gentle but effective way.
How does Yin Yoga work?
In Yin Yoga, the postures are performed passively, without muscle strength, so that the deeper tissue is addressed, such as the connective tissue, tendons and ligaments. While you remain in a posture, you learn to be patient and to become aware of your breathing, thoughts and feelings. This makes Yin Yoga not only a physical, but also a mental exercise.
The benefits of Yin Yoga
1. Improved flexibility: The deep stretches make your connective tissue more flexible, which contributes to more freedom of movement in your joints.
2. Stress Relief: The gentle, slow nature of Yin Yoga helps to calm your nervous system and promotes a deep sense of relaxation.
3. Improved Mobility: Regular practice can improve the mobility of your joints, which is especially beneficial for those with sedentary lifestyles.
4. Increased Mindfulness: Yin Yoga offers a chance to be still and become aware of your thoughts, breath and body, which can help to bring about mental clarity.
5. Stimulates Energy Pathways: Yin Yoga works with the meridians of traditional Chinese medicine, helping to balance your energy (chi) flows.
6. Aids Recovery: The deep, gentle stretching can help to repair muscles after exercise and release built-up tension.
Yin Yoga is suitable for everyone, regardless of age or experience. It is an ideal complement to an active lifestyle or other dynamic sports and yoga styles. If you are looking for a way to find more balance and relaxation in your life, Yin Yoga is an excellent choice.Come experience it for yourself and discover how Yin Yoga can renew your body and mind!

Barre
Barre is a unique workout that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and strength training. Itβs inspired by classic ballet movements, but you donβt need any dance experience to participate. Barre uses a barre (a support beam), small weights, and your own body weight to perform controlled, precise movements. These workouts focus on strengthening and lengthening muscles, improving your posture, and building endurance.
How does Barre work?
Barre classes consist of a combination of small, isometric movements and dynamic exercises. You work different muscle groups, including your core, legs, arms, and glutes. Many exercises are performed in a high or low position, actively contracting your muscles and stretching at the same time. The focus is on balance, control, and endurance.
The benefits of Barre
1. Stronger, leaner muscles: The combination of strength and stretching exercises helps you build a strong, toned body.
2. Improved posture: Barre focuses on core stability and back muscles, which significantly improves your posture.
3. More flexibility: The stretching during the workout helps to make your muscles more flexible.
4. Low impact, high effectiveness: Barre is gentle on your joints, making it suitable for almost everyone, regardless of fitness level.
5. Improved balance and coordination: The exercises constantly challenge your stability and body awareness.
6. Strength and endurance: You learn to activate muscles that you might not normally use, which improves your overall strength and fitness.
7. Boost your energy level: The varied movements and music during a Barre class give you an energetic feeling.
Barre is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, fitness or experience. It is a great choice if you are looking for a workout that combines strength and elegance while being fun.

TRX
TRX (Total Resistance Exercises) is a functional training technique that uses your own body weight in combination with a set of adjustable suspension straps. These straps are attached to a sturdy anchor point and provide an unstable surface, which means you have to constantly activate your core and stability during the exercises.
TRX training is suitable for everyone, regardless of your fitness level. By adjusting the angle at which you use the straps, you can easily increase or decrease the intensity. It is an effective and versatile way to build strength, balance, flexibility and endurance.
How does TRX work?
During a TRX training, you perform exercises in which you hang one part of your body from the straps while you move another part. You use your own body weight as resistance and train multiple muscle groups at the same time. TRX can be used for a full-body workout or to isolate specific muscle groups.
The benefits of TRX
1. Full-body workout: TRX trains your entire body, with a strong focus on the core.
2. Improved strength: The exercises help you strengthen your muscles without using heavy weights. 3. Flexibility and Mobility: The dynamic nature of TRX not only improves your strength, but also your range of motion.
4. Core Stability: The constant instability of the straps makes TRX a great way to strengthen your core muscles.
5. Adaptable for All Levels: TRX exercises can be adapted to your individual level, from beginner to advanced.
6. Improved Balance and Coordination: Your body must constantly stabilize, which improves your balance and coordination.
7. Time-Saving: Because you work multiple muscle groups at once, TRX is an efficient way to stay fit.
8. Low Impact, High Intensity: TRX is easy on your joints, making it a safe option for almost anyone.
TRX is ideal for those looking for a challenging, versatile, and functional workout. Whether youβre looking to get stronger, improve your core, or just want a fun and effective workout, TRX has it all.
